As you may know, membership in IRCMS is exclusive to physicians (MDs and DOs) practicing medicine or residing in Indian River County. IRCMS was established in 1947 and today remains the only organization of its type in the area.

IRCMS membership also entitles you to timely policy updates on key issues of interest to physicians, low or no cost opportunities to obtain CME credit, patient referrals, access to our research service, plus a myriad of benefits unnamed, not to mention the residual effect that follows association with IRCMS’ excellent standing in the community.

We are pleased to announce that IRCMS has streamlined its membership process. Upon receipt of your completed application, action is taken immediately to process it. The application process is usually completed within a few weeks. Once your request for membership is approved, you become eligible to participate in our active referral program, society governance and enjoy the variety of services, benefits, etc., available to you as a member of the IRCMS.

While we encourage membership in all three medical associations – AMA, FMA and IRCMS -you may choose to apply for membership in one or all, whatever best suits your needs. IRCMS dues include four general membership dinner meetings and/or social events. If you are transferring from another Florida county medical society, are a first time member or second year renewal, you may be eligible for certain discounts. Please let us know when you return your application. Please do not remit the dues with your completed application. You will be billed for the appropriate amount at the time membership is granted.

As an IRCMS member, you are encouraged to join the Indian River County Medical Political Action Committee to support medicine-friendly candidates and committees in Florida. Annual PAC dues are just $25.00.
